“I highly recommend this company to take photos at your wedding! We loved our photographer Percy. He was incredible, and so helpful. He came with several cameras and valued all of our ideas, and when we became stumped he offered ideas for us to try as well. He was very professional, kind, caring, and always on top of the game taking photos. Towards the end of our night he started to put the camera away and brought it back out to catch a few final moments. He was on top of responding to all questions before, during, and after. He took photos of me and my husband before the ceremony and got some wonderful shots (it was a 95 outside wedding so this was much appreciated because we all had some sweat on our faces). But before we got Percy and our booking process with eivans it was super simple, and just an overall great experience.”

The whole process was super easy and whenever we had a question or wanted to update something (like add more uplights, which was a great addition btw) we always got a prompt and helpful reply. And our DJ Rob Goodmonson! We cannot thank him enough for the amazing work he did at our wedding! We loved his energy and all of his questions that he had for us during our phone call consultation. I in particular am very grateful that he was so willing to help me with a special song request which required mixing bits from two songs together for my Father-Daughter dance. He was more than up for the challenge and was so helpful with it! When it came to the actual wedding, he was so kind when introducing himself on our wedding day and did a beautiful job MCing. We wanted more minimal MC work and he nailed it perfectly! He was also super flexible with last minute announcement requests that we had. For example, we realized no one was noticing the anniversary cards we put out for signing at the dinner tables, so we asked him to make a little announcement about it and he did great doing that on the spot! Finally, the music all night was absolutely fantastic. He really listened to what we wanted and he delivered! The music felt very much like “us” and we had so much fun dancing all night long. Everyone kept talking about how great he was and several people said it was the best wedding music they have ever heard. If we ever need a DJ again, without a doubt, we will be hiring DJ Rob!”

“We absolutely loved working with The Hook Club. Our amazing planner, Greenhouse Events, recommended THC, and we were sold immediately after meeting with Dan. He is super relaxed, nice, and so knowledgable. Dan and THC team made planning super easy for us. They took time to hear about our hopes and helped recommend different band sizes for us. We hadn’t heard of a DJ band before, but loved the idea of some live music with the versatility to play all sorts of music, but our venue wasn’t very big and we also didn’t want to break the bank and hire a huge band. We chose the 4 piece DJ band with singer, sax, drums, and DJ. We knew we LOVED the sax, so we also had the sax play for cocktail hour (shout out to Elijah, who was amazing), and it was one of the best parts of the night. For planning music, they sent out a very detailed and thorough spreadsheet with more songs than one could imagine, and we could rate ones we liked the most, choose ones we definitely wanted or didn't, and choose specific songs for important moments. We met a couple times to review music choices as well. One of our biggest fears with a DJ was that they'd talk too much and be a little annoying, but Dan did a great job as MC, and was very low-key like we asked but announced important moments clearly. Dan and all the musicians had such great energy and got everyone on the dance floor. Our vocalist, Christen, was also amazing — her voice was spectacular, and she was such an amazing performer and got everyone involved in the music and dancing. So many people told us how much they loved the music and the energy, and had never heard of a DJ band but thought it was an amazing concept and the addition of live music over tracks added extra excitement and fun. THC also helped out with lighting (uplights and dance lights), and worked with our fantastic planner and the venue to help us decide the best setup. Ultimately, we loved working with THC. Their DJ-band setup is unique and adds so much variety to your music while allowing for some of the energy that comes from live performers. We danced the night away and had an absolute blast. 100% would recommend THC to anyone!”

“I’m SO satisfied with our experience booking with George Street! I was drawn to them because I thought they were more reasonably priced compared to what some individual photographers are charging these days (we’re in the Seattle market), but I didn’t feel like the price advantage came at a sacrifice of quality. I loved the photos our photographer John C. took (who was AMAZING!) for both our engagement/portrait session and of course the photos on the day of the wedding. He did a fantastic job capturing all the beautiful memories we made that day, and we are so grateful. The booking process was really simple, too—I arranged a meeting with one of their sales reps (Amber) who did an excellent job explaining exactly how their company works, the packages available, how to choose your photographer and so on. Once we booked with them, we were given access to an online portal to put in all the necessary info that would be passed along to the photographer. One thing I would say is that because you are contracting with a company and not the individual photographer, you aren’t able to communicate directly with the photographer very often. You really are hiring them for photography only, so collaborating with them on the event timeline and other details is not really an option. Any questions you have generally need to be sent via the wedding coordinators at George Street, as you won’t even receive your photographer’s email or phone number until you actually meet them (it’s possible this is not the case for everyone, but just our experience). To be clear, this was NOT an issue for us at all, but just something to be aware of if a more hands-on photographer that can help with coordination and planning is really what you’re looking for.”

“From my first call with JJ Essen, I knew his team was a good fit. He was prompt, communicative, and organized. He assigned Scott as our DJ & Javier as our photobooth attendant. Scott was equally communicative & organized. He set up multiple calls throughout the process, and was super flexible with us when we had to change our venue & timeline 3 weeks before the wedding. I sent Scott some specific songs, but also shared my Spotify playlists, and he made sure the entire night was popping! The dance floor was full all night, as Scott played banger after banger. Haylie was intentional, thoughtful and she helped us be at ease leading up to the wedding and day of. With family travelling from outside of the country, she made a simple document we could give to them to have all the info needed so they didn't ask us the day of. I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”
